The non-profit Terborch Foundation is a group of passionate museum and marketing professionals who aim to show the public art treasures from the Dutch National Collection. Many of these treasures have not left the Dutch government depot vaults for many years. These works of art are of top quality, often Old Master paintings.

We have established a partnership with the Dutch government service RCE  Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed to present parts of this national collection and aim to reach a broad national audience. Our first exhibition is Looted Art in the Netherlands: the long search for its owners, which is programmed for the summer of 2017.

We will be exhibiting in the Bergkerk church in Deventer, which at this point is being restored, acclimatized and where extra safety measures are being installed to make it a space fit for museum exhibits according to government standards. The Dutch National Collection holds the majority of the works that are to be exhibited.
